Demii Maher-Smith a 16 year old Gold Coast athlete and a client at Hanks Place Australia will be representing Australia in the long jump and with the 2009 high jump, long jump and triple jump National titles and the 2010 high jump, long jump and triple jump National titles under her belt she’s looking good to pick up a medal along with a fantastic experience.

The inaugural games in Singapore will see 3,600 sports people between the ages of 14 and 18 competing in 26 sports from 205 Olympic committees.

There are cultural education programmes for the competitors and their own Olympic village and the reality of drug testing.

September 2010

The Australian National skateboard slalom series, Conehead Cup, organised by ASRA (Australian Skateboard Racing Association) is well under way and in Canberra on the 11th and 12th of September we see round 5 & 6 taking place, a ditch slalom and a tight slalom.  

Kurt Nischel our sponsored rider is sitting at the top of the series at the moment with only 57 points clear and three races remaining.
